You might remember Agar, that wacky arena multiplayer game , better known as Agar.io, because that's the actual web address where you can find it. In the same vein, Slither.io is an arena game where you will be controlling a snake (as opposed to a blob) in search of food pellets.

These pellets are either spawned around and can be picked up at your leisure or are the remains of snakes that have well... disintegrated. These are more nutritious and allow for the snake to grow longer and bigger than regular pellets.

Feeding off rival snakes is a bit more complex than the hunting procedure in Agar.io. Here, size does not guarantee safety. Even though crisscrossing over your own body is perfectly harmless, as soon as you hit another snake you turn into fodder. This makes hunting a game of passive aggressiveness in which you try to outsmart others by circling around them and making their escape impossible. In order to help with that, you can speed up your movement at the expense of size for as long as your body mass allows.

Slither.io is a wonderful time waster. It is a perfect successor to Agar.io, even though both games stand in their own right.
